TCSO Deputies Still Searching for Man in Tule River

Update:

The Tulare County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in finding 38-year-old William “Billy” Moore. William was last seen around 8:30 p.m.  on 05/13/2023 after floating down the Tule River in the Springville area. William was last seen wearing multi-colored swim shorts with a grey/white T-shirt. William does not have any known medical conditions or mental health issues. William is described as a white male adult who is able-bodied and able to swim and walk. William was floating on an unknown-color or style floatation device.

Around 11 a.m. on  5/13/23, TCSO Deputies received a call that a man was seen going into the Tule River, near the Springville area, last night, and hasn’t been seen since. Right now, TCSO Deputies, as well as drones and other resources, are at at the Tule River searching for the missing man. The California Highway Patrol Helicopter “H 40” is also helping with the search.
