Winter Road Closure - Western Divide (M107 & M50) Information, click here..

• State Route 190 is Closed east of Springville. Check Caltrans site for further details.
• Due to Caltrans closure of SR 190 between Springville and Ponderosa, Tulare County will work to clear and temporarily open the Western Divide (M50 and M107) between CA Hot Springs and Ponderosa. This road is not plowed at night and may be closed during storms. Chains may be required at any time.
• Please note that due to forecasted weather patterns, it is likely that access to Ponderosa may again be further limited. Plan accordingly, and limit all trips to those that are only absolutely necessary.

All the following roads are closed until further notice:

• Avenue 120 west of State Route 43 will be closed starting July 17, 2023, for approximately 18 months. A detour will be provided for the duration of the closure. This closure is being implemented as a result of the California High Speed Rail Project. 
• South Branch Tule River: D112 (I-Street, west of State Route 99) between Avenue 160 and Avenue 184. This close will be effective on 8/10/2023, for approximately 2 months. 

Friant-Kern Canal

• Avenue 96 between Road 208 and Road 224 will be closed to through traffic. The closure is being implemented as a result of the Friant-Kern Canal Realignment Project. Closure started on Monday (2/6/23) and will remain in place for approximately 5 months.
• Road 208 between Avenue 88 Avenue 96 will be closed to through traffic starting tomorrow (3/8/2023) and will remain in place for approximately 5 months. The closure is being implemented as a result of the Friant-Kern Canal Realignment Project.
