Mission Statement:

Tulare County's Purchasing Department mission is to acquire quality commodities, materials and services at an economical cost to the agencies of the County of Tulare.  We provide these commodities and services in a quick and efficient manner, within the legal boundaries of the purchasing field, by using the latest practices and technologies.  Thereby, enabling the County to quickly provide services to the public.

 

Purchasing is committed to providing information, continuing education and assistance on the current procedures, policies and legal requirements of the purchasing process to County Agencies and to the providers of goods and services who wish to acquire the County as a customer.  Purchasing is dedicated to provide services in a professional manner in a pleasant and welcoming environment.
